Today rupee continued with its upward journey after indian Stocvk market was bullish.50-share index Sensex ended at 5,903.65, up 6.90 points or 0.12 per cent. It touched a high of 5,924.35 and a low of 5,832.70 in trade and BSE Sensex closed flat at 19,997.45. It touched a high of 20,055.53 and a low of 19,777.63 in trade today.

Tata Steel , Hindalco , SBI , Tata Power and Sun Pharma are the major gainers in the Sensex. Meanwhile, on the losing side are Tata Motors , HUL , ITC , BHEL and Cipla .Smallcaps and midcaps see stellar rally with the index gaining over 1 percent each. Finacial Tech, Prism Cement , Puravankara Projects , IRB Infra and UCO Bank are top midcap gainers.

Metals, realty, banks and capital goods stocks are lending strength to the market while FMCG are growing weak.
