Indian Stock Market climes Today rupee against the US dollar also provided support. The partially convertible was at 64.33, up 91 paise, on the back of FII inflows. It touched an intraday high of 64.10 and a low of 64.54 in trade, 30-share index Sensex ended at 19,997.10, up 727.04 points or 3.77 per cent. It touched a high of 20,012.69 and a low of 19,444.66 in trade and Nifty closex at 5,896.75, up 216.35 points or 3.81 per cent. It touched a high of 5,904.85 and a low of 5,738.20 in trade today.

In International market Asian markets finished broadly higher today with shares in Japan leading the region. The Nikkei 225 is up 1.54% while China's Shanghai Composite is up 1.15% and Hong Kong's Hang Seng is up 0.99%.European markets are broadly higher today with shares in Germany leading the region. The DAX is up 1.77% while France's CAC 40 is up 1.33% and London's FTSE 100 is up 0.78%.

    Markets opened flat but sustained buying was seen in the entire session and positive momentum was seen in the last hour of trade and closed on satisfactory note. Nifty future lied in the same consolidation range on daily charts while closed above crucial 5900 mark indicating strength further.
