Today Sensex ended 153 points lower on Friday even as shares of Infosys and Tata Consultancy hit their 52-week highs. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), ended the day at 19,164.02, down 153 points, or 0.79 per cent. The index hit a high of 19,451.70 and a low of 19,078.72 in intraday trade on Friday, 50-share index of the National Stock Exchange ( NSE), closed at 5,677.90, down 49.95 points or 0.87 per cent. The index touched a high of 5,761.85 and a low of 5,649.00 in intraday trade.
In International market Asian markets finished broadly higher today with shares in Japan leading the region. The Nikkei 225 is up 3.29% while Hong Kong's Hang Seng is up 0.46% and China's Shanghai Composite is up 0.02%.European markets are mixed today. The DAX is up 0.10% while the CAC 40 gains 0.06%. The FTSE 100 is off 0.20%.

Sensex and Nifty 3.5 per cent to 3 per cent in the week break. Bank Nifty 4.5 per cent lower. Midcap and Smallcap stocks break 6 per cent. Realty, Power, FMCG, Metal, Capital Goods, Auto, Healthcare, IT stocks declined from 14.2 to 2 per cent. Consumer durable stocks rose by 3 per cent.
