Indian Stock Market Today 50-share index Nifty ended at 5,780.05, up 44.75 points or 0.78 per cent. The index touched intraday high of 5,786.45 and a low of 5,700.95, and BSE Sensex closed at 19,517.15, up 137.38 points or 0.71 per cent. It touched a high of 19,532.91 and a low of 19,264.72 in trade today.

Today the sectoral indices, the S&P BSE Bankex Index was up 2.85 per cent, the S&P BSE Realty Index gained 2.73 per cent, the S&P BSE Capital Goods Index advanced 1.71 per cent and the S&P BSE Auto Index moved up 1.16 per cent. and Oil & Gas Index was down 0.73 per cent, the S&P BSE Power Index declined 0.63 per cent and the S&P BSE Metal Index was 0.28 per cent lower.

Today In Market DLF (7.15 per cent), Ranbaxy (5.92 per cent), IndusInd BankBSE 3.89 % (4.68 per cent), Axis BankBSE 3.62 % (3.74 per cent) and ICICI BankBSE 2.94 % (3.50 per cent) were among the index gainers, and Tata PowerBSE -3.82 % (4 per cent), Sesa Goa (3.15 per cent), NTPCBSE -2.87 % (2.51 per cent), ONGC (2.24 per cent) and Jindal Steel (1.68 per cent) were among the top losers.

In Intarnational Market Asian markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The Shanghai Composite gained 0.68% and the Nikkei 225 rose 0.20%. The Hang Seng lost 1.50%.European markets are mixed today. The CAC 40 is up 0.73% while the DAX gains 0.56%. The FTSE 100 is off 0.23%.
